Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Delhi

Outlook Designheed was honored to design and execute the architectural and interior transformation of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), reflecting the ideals of governance, academic excellence, and sustainability. The project adopts a Contemporary Institutional theme infused with Indian heritage—melding modern materials with traditional stone cladding and sandstone finishes. A grand façade featuring spider glazing, tall columns, and textured paint reinforces IIPA’s stature as a leading institution.

 

The design prioritizes sustainability through passive cooling, solar energy integration, and rainwater harvesting systems. Courtyards, skylights, and shaded glass facades were incorporated to maximize natural light, while vertical gardens and water bodies enhance thermal comfort.

 

Smart technologies such as motion-sensor lighting, digital kiosks, and smart classrooms support modern academic functionality. The landscaped exterior features a welcoming entrance plaza with a fountain, tree-lined pathways, and seating pods. Stainless steel name signage and subtle national symbols establish a strong, dignified identity for IIPA.
