Outlook Designheed envisioned and executed a serene, coastal-inspired clubhouse for Chennai Port Trust, reflecting the maritime charm of its location. Rooted in Coastal Contemporary Aesthetics, the architecture merges natural textures with modern elegance, combining wood, stone veneer, and expansive glass surfaces to echo the surrounding sea and sky.

 

The clubhouse embraces an Open-Air Design, seamlessly connecting indoor spaces with the outdoors to harness the ocean breeze and panoramic views. Large openings, shaded terraces, and breezy verandahs create a fluid transition between built form and nature. The material palette includes warm timber finishes, soft-toned stone cladding, and transparent glass, offering both sophistication and coastal warmth.

 

Our design focused on leisure and community, incorporating cozy seating areas, casual lounges, and open decks ideal for social gatherings. The clubhouse stands as a tranquil retreat, balancing contemporary functionality with the poetic essence of Chennai’s coastal identity.
