Project Overview
The Expansion and Development Project of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi was carried out with an aim of improving the institutional infrastructure facilities by means of civil works, architectural works, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and electrical works.
The project concentrated on functional improvements, architectural details, building service systems and construction aspects along with keeping in mind the needs of the functioning institute campus. Designheed assisted the project through design development, structural analysis, MEP coordination, quantity survey and scheduling of the project.
The use of AutoCAD and STAAD Pro helped achieve accurate documentation for architecture and structures, while AutoCAD MEP/HAP helped with planning of building services. MS Excel helped achieve systematic BOQ compilation and cost estimation, while MS Project helped with implementation planning.
