The project comprised multi-disciplinary design and engineering of a hostel facility incorporating various disciplines including Civil, Architecture, HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical and Low Voltage (LV) Systems.
The project needed close coordination amongst architectural planning, structural design, and building services to have a functionally feasible facility. The structural assessment and analysis were done through STAAD Pro and ETABS, while AutoCAD MEP was utilized to provide detailed service layout and coordination.
Quantity-based documentation, project tracking, and scheduling were accomplished using MS Excel and MS Project. This integrated design approach made sure that there were proper building systems, effective service delivery, structural integrity, and organized technical documentation.
