Outlook Designheed proudly delivered a contextual yet forward-looking architectural design for the Girls’ Hostel at FDDI-Hyderabad. Blending modern aspirations with cultural roots, the design harmonises traditional Indian architectural elements with functional living spaces. A central open courtyard forms the heart of the layout, offering natural ventilation, green serenity, and communal engagement.
The façade showcases a rich play of classical mouldings, fluted columns, and intricately carved GRC jaali panels, providing both aesthetics and passive cooling. Wide verandas and shaded walkways further enhance comfort in Hyderabad’s climate.
We emphasised energy efficiency by integrating solar panels on rooftops and pergolas, complemented by thick stone walls and high ceilings for thermal insulation. Locally sourced marble, granite, and handcrafted wooden elements reinforce durability and authenticity.
This project is a testament to our approach, where heritage-inspired design meets sustainability and student-centric functionality.
