Tripura Bhawan Delhi

Outlook Designheed crafted a culturally immersive interior for Tripura Bhawan, New Delhi, with a vision to celebrate the legacy of India’s Chief Ministers and the spirit of Indian federalism. Titled “Voices of Leadership,” the design weaves together stories of governance, unity, and diversity—paying homage to state leaders through a thoughtful spatial and visual experience.

 

Our approach combined contemporary interior techniques with traditional Indian materials—bamboo, terracotta, khadi, brass, and reclaimed wood. The neutral base palette of ivory and slate was accented with region-specific colors like Tripuri reds, evoking both dignity and warmth. Sculptural lighting, jali-pattern pendants, and interactive LED displays brought narratives to life.

 

Custom exhibits, curated artifacts, and tactile installations created an educational and emotionally resonant space. Though national in theme, the design remained rooted in Tripura’s cultural soul—merging modern storytelling with heritage, and transforming the Bhawan into a dignified and inspiring tribute to India’s political journey.
