Project Overview
The Renovation and Upgradation of the Signal Station Building of Visakhapatnam Port Authority mainly concentrated on improving the functional aspects of the structure with respect to the safety, reliability, and serviceability of the building. It included complete renovation in civil and architectural structures, HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting and Electrical services with necessary Structural upgradations.
In this project, Outlook Designheed Consultants Pvt. Ltd. provided an integrated multidisciplinary consultancy to coordinate existing conditions of building and renovation plans.
AutoCAD and STAAD Pro helped in preparing the design drawings and Structural Assessments of the building, whereas HAP and AutoCAD MEP were helpful in the coordination of the building Services. MS Excel assisted in BOQ and costing while MS Project was used for planning, scheduling, and execution of the project.
