Project Overview
The GAIL Jharsuguda project required the construction of an office block of 2.5 meters high that will serve administrative and operational purposes. This project included civil works, architectural design, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting and electrical works, with the multidisciplinary consultancy provided by Outlook Designheed Consultants Pvt. Ltd.
In terms of functions, the project concentrated on functional design, structural soundness, building services coordination, and efficiency of operations. The software used included AutoCAD for designing and layout and STAAD Pro for structural checking and analysis. MS Excel was utilized for BOQ preparation, quantity calculation, Costing and budget planning, whereas MS Project assisted in program management and coordination.
