Project Overview
Outlook Designheed Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was associated in the design of the Academic Building at NIT Rourkela, Odisha, India by providing architectural, structural, BIM, and construction documentation services under a single roof.
The project adopted a digitally coordinated workflow starting from LOD 200 tender modeling to LOD 450 construction documentation and LOD 450 As-Built Model. Such workflow allowed efficient coordination among various disciplines, enhanced the accuracy of construction and also helped establish accurate project documentation.
Technical drawing was achieved using AutoCAD software, while visualization and presentations were done using SketchUp and 3ds Max. Structural Analysis and Engineering Coordination were performed using STAAD Pro and ETABS.
